82 Degrees and Sunny!

Good Morning! It's damp and cloudy here where I live and I can't help but long to be in the sunshine state today and soak up some of those Florida rays. Where's a perfect place to do that? I be you know what I'm going to say... :) Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon of course!
Both water parks at Walt Disney World are loads of fun in the sun, but oftentimes two of the most not-purchased add-on's to the park tickets. Most times because people are going in off months and feel it would be too cold to go to a water park. Hellllooooo?!! This is Florida, people! Not to mention that the water in the pools on property during the off season months are kept at a comfortable 82 degrees. In December at Typhoon Lagoon in the water will be lovely....I can't say about when you get out of the water though. :)

Everybody's different though, you'll see people from the UK in the water in January where someone from Georgia walking by looking at them might shudder. (Yes, the above picture is of the pool at Disney's Yacht Club, but I'm illustrating the 82 degrees for you.) :)

There are two different ways to gain access to either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. You could buy a one day water park ticket to whichever one you want to go to at the gate of that park when you get there or add on the Water Park Fun and More option to your Magic Your Way Ticket. The add on option gives you more flexibility during your vacation on what you can take advantage of during your stay at Walt Disney World. It also depends on the number of theme park days that you purchase to know how many water park days you'll get. With the exception of a one day theme park ticket**, the water park fun and more option coincides with the number of days your theme park ticket is.

For example, if you purchased a 5 day Magic Your Way Ticket and add on the Water Park Fun and More option, you'll get 5 additional visits (that don't count at all towards your Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom) to either Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, DisneyQuest, The Wode World of Sports Complex, or a round of golf at Disney's nine hole walking course, Oak Trail. WOW!

And you can use them in any combination you like!

Here's an example:
Say you purchase a 4 day Magic Your Way Park Hopper Ticket with the Water Park Fun and More option. You have 10 days from the first time you use the ticket to take advantage of all it offers. So besides hopping at any time of day while they're open between the four major theme parks; you can also play a round of golf in the morning at 7 am at Disney's Oak Trail course (make reservations!!), go to breakfast at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom with Winnie the Pooh and friends, have a daquiri while you watch your kids play on the water slides and the wave pools at Typhoon Lagoon in the afternoon, and then after a quick change back at your resort, enjoy a fantastic dinner at Teppan Edo in Japan at EPCOT. Now what did you use on your ticket in one day? One theme park day and two water park fun and more visits. You would have 3 theme park days left and 2 water park fun and more visits to use in the next nine days. :) Sounds like a fantastic vacation to me!

Ticket prices are subject to change, and the price for an add-on is different than if you wanted to gain entry for one day.

**The exception for the one day theme park ticket is that the Water Park Fun and More add on would be 2 visits instead of one. :)
